Paulaner needed a prize draw promotion to be fully built from the ground up.
This meant they needed a microsite with form submission capabilities, age gating, and a fully fleshed-out proof-of-purchase validation system to confirm valid entries into their purchase-necessary promotion.
Paulaner wanted participants to be able to enter with a selfie with their pint, which, with participant consent, opens great opportunities for user-generated content. For the proof of purchase, to include automation into their process, they would need recognition robotics.

To ensure validation was accurate, PromoNow used the PromoVision module – our AI-powered recognition robotics – to manage the verification process. With fraud prevention built in, the validation process could be reliably automated.
We included location submission to filter down the number of possible bad actors – the entire process remains transparent with the user; if the participant consents to enable their location, PromoNow checks if the entrant is in a Paulaner pub.
From there, with customised AI, PromoVision was used to accurately sort for valid photo entries.

Using PromoVision, we accurately verified over 1.5k entrants over the 2-month period the promotion was live. Maintaining the integrity of the promotion and rewarding genuine participants by preventing bad actors from entering the promotion.
